Road Inspections

With routine road inspections, road activity is monitored and supervised, while findings are notified to road management entities (The Republic of Slovenia Directorate for Roads and municipalities).

Routine Maintenance of Traffic Surfaces

This business activity includes cleaning traffic surfaces, repairs of local damage, such as patching damaged spots, asphalt coating, filling of fissures, cracks and joints, and repairs of other damage on roads and accompanying structures.

Road Cleaning

Road cleaning refers to removal of everything from the carriageway that might influence traffic safety, road functionality and carriageway appearance in a negative way.

Routine Drainage Maintenance

These works include activities enabling water to be drained from carriageways and incorporates maintenance and cleaning of drainage devices, such as drains, shafts, drainage flow-throughs, etc.

Routine Maintenance of Traffic Signalisation and Equipment

These works include cleaning, modification, replacement or repair of outlived, damaged, deficient or missing traffic signalisation and equipment and its supporting elements. This applies to both vertical signalisation and ground markings.

Routine Vegetation Maintenance

This relates to cutting grass or trees and pruning of vegetation which is an integral part of the road with the purpose of assuring the road’s visual profile, line of sight, visibility of traffic signalisation and carriageway tidiness.

Intervention Measures

These measures describe a continuous emergency service and workgroups performing appropriate measures in cases of extraordinary events on roads, such as traffic accidents, natural disasters effecting roads, etc.

Winter Road Maintenance

Winter maintenance of roads is based on a prepared winter service performance programme defining responsible persons, prioritised road network plan, response times, emergency watch, road gravelling plan against icing, etc. In addition to trained personnel for provision of winter services the company has the most contemporary mechanisation available, including vehicles for the so called “wet sanding”, which allows for quick and effective measures prior to icing occurrence or for its removal.

Traffic Management

Traffic management includes preparation of traffic arrangement plans for roads, preparation of road detour plans, physical implementation of road blocks and detour traffic signs or implementation of temporary road blocks for construction and/or reconstruction of roads.

Road Protection

For its clients, the company prepares specialist evaluations of interventions within the wider, protective road area and road body. This means that the company prescribes conditions under which an investor may intervene in the protected zone along the road or road body and in which way in order to preserve public interest and respect industry related rules. Such interventions include road excavation, junctions, incorporating plumbing installations, etc. These works are monitored and recorded by the company. The company also keeps the road and traffic signalisation cadastre consisting of records of all roads and traffic signalisation in the area it maintains.
